Dr. Ami Khatri has been in the state of Texas since 1996. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree with Cum Laude honors, in 2005, from University of Houston. During her studies, she was actively involved with tutoring, and volunteering at Memorial Herman Hospital.
Dr. Khatri pursued her studies and received a Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Houston- College of Optometry in 2009. She completed her clinical rotations at McCormick Vision Center and Bridge Builders, where she focused on the treatments and management of eye diseases such as Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy and specialty contact lens fitting.
Dr. Khatri spends a lot of time making sure that her patients can see well and have healthy eyes. Furthermore, she dedicates her time in understanding the visual needs of all patients, taking into account their hobbies and work. Her specialty includes fitting multifocal contacts, treating eye allergy/dry eyes, and managing retinal pathologies. In her spare time, Dr. Khatri enjoys watching movies, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.
